Called, Made an appointment, and immediately we knew we'd love this jeweler. He listened to the goals of our custom ring, and every detail we wanted. He brought 5 emeralds for me to choose from which he hand picked from jewelers around the peninsula. Then he got a few trapezoidal diamonds I can choose from of different sizes so we knew what the ring would look like. I also added nubs in the ring so it didn't fall and a European shank as he suggested because I hate when rings fall between your fingers from weight. This was super helpful and the piece turned out better than I thought. I can't stop staring!! We will be back to design more jewelry.

Bert helped me with finding and designing my wife's engagement/wedding band (we had gone to a few other jewelry's before with no luck). He also helped us find a diamond that matched a diamond my wife already had to make them into a pair of earrings. He has also helped us with other jewelry and Rolex watches. We have gone a few times to Jewels of Manaco and not purchased anything and still treated with respect/courtesy (very honest and respectful/smart person). liz horton27 August 2024In 2014 after taking my Rolex to "allegedly" the best jewelry store in Burlingame for service, I received my watch back service 6 weeks later with a different band. I spoke to the owner at the time and he denied the band had been switch. I asked if the repairs took place locally or in house. He then shared that they sent the watch to LA for the service and continued to deny the band had been switched. I was never told the watch was being shipped to LA for service at the time I took it in for service. I was left with nothing to do but pay for my watch and leave. After wearing the watch for 2 months it stopped running again. I have had this watch since 1980 and never once did it ever stop. In actuality this was the first service I did on the watch after wearing it for 34 years. It ran like a clock as they say. I was so annoyed and frustrated that I put it in my jewelry box and there it stayed until November of this year. My daughter asked me this year where my Rolex was and since I no longer wore it might it be something I would give to her. I told her it needed service and maybe a repair so I did not know when it would be available for her. Enter Humberto & Jewels of Monaco. I went speak to Humberto after seeing that he specialized in Rolex watches. I told him my story and he said he would fix my watch but he did not want me to leave it with him until I had done due diligence on him and his shop. He suggested I check reviews online and ask around about his work. Very honest of him and I immediately knew he was a trustworthy jeweler. I did ask around and found several people who had frequented this store. I went back with my watch. Not only did fix my watch but he sold me a Rolex band for a very fair price to replace the band that was put on my watch in LA. He did the service, replace the band and replaced the face all in a couple of weeks so I could give the watch to my daughter as a Christmas gift! He listened very carefully that I did not want the integrity or structure of the ring changed, but wanted it simply enhanced and designed for a women. The ring is beautiful and I will wear it and cherish a ring that has not been worn for 70 years. I recently got a beautiful halo cushion ring for my now fiancée and they both worked with me each step of the way even though I was 3,000 miles away in New York City! They reconditioned the watch, added custom diamond dial and diamond bezel along with a diamond bracelet. The watch came back better than we ever imagined. The workmanship was excellent and dealing with Bert was a real pleasure. I have known Bert and Eddy for quite some time. I trust them 100%. I had a bracelet that was given to me as a present by family in Italy last summer. 18 k white gold . The clasp on the bracelet was small and I had dropped and almost lost it at my home. I brought the bracelet to Umberto and he determined that we needed to change the clasp to a classic clasp. In Italy the clasps on the bracelet are beautiful. Unfortunately they do not wear well and you will need to replace them. Umberto was very detailed with the plan and discussed what needed to be done. He ordered the 18k clasp showed me the fit . Once I saw the clasp and we agreed he asked for a couple of days. He called me in a couple of days when the bracelet was ready. He did an excellent job and I am grateful for his detailed work and professionalism.

I’ve been doing business with Eddy and Bert for 13 years. I was introduced to them by my brother who had been dealing with them for several years prior. I’ve purchased many pieces from them including multiple watches. The service is outstanding. My favorite part of our relationship is that I can call Eddy and say, “I need something for my wife and I have no idea what I want.” After talking for a few minutes about the occasion he’ll say, ok I think I have an idea what you’re wanting and in the next few days Eddy will send multiple ideas for me to consider and at least one of them will be dead perfect. They’ve serviced all of our timepieces and resized multiple pieces as well. They’ve fabricated pieces from loose stones for me and their design and service is unparalleled. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I came here to get an engagement ring. Humberto helped me throughout the entire process, from selecting the stone, to designing the ring itself until we found something perfect all within a specified budget. The whole process ended up being a rather enjoyable experience as we had multiple conversations about the designs. All in all, my now fiance and I could not be happier and I would strongly recommend anyone looking to get a ring or other jewelry to stop by.

Humberto is highly skilled in the art of jewelry. I brought in out-of-date jewelry that I wanted to be redesigned. I had an idea of what I wanted and he sketched out my vision before my eyes. He delivered above and beyond what I imagined in an exquisite piece of art that I absolutely love and receive constant compliments on! He has done this more than once for me. I have had several things either repaired or re-imagined here and my experience has been great every time. I had my engagement ring completely redesigned and they did EXACTLY what I had envisioned.
